A True AGRO CONCEPT EMBAL Innovation
Ceramic packaging and other rigid containers are usually vacuum-packed in a bag. This bag covers the entirety of the packaging, and when heat is applied to make it retract, the product can spill out and contaminate the whole unit.
Because our ceramics can be sealed with a lid, considerably less plastic is needed and both vacuum and modified atmosphere packing are possible. You can also use pasteurisation-type thermal processing and cook products in their sealed packaging.
Specific Applications
This technique has been adopted especially for cooking foie gras. It gives products excellent organoleptic qualities while ensuring they stay safe and secure and noticeably extending their use-by date.
For sensitive pâté-type products, heat-sealing also significantly reduces contamination risks (i.e.: around listeria) and provides consumers with all the food safety they expect.
As part of the support we offer, we provide a sealing machine so that you can approve this technique’s use on our ceramics in your own premises and using your own products. We provide the film and packaging, and no element of this service is charged, including staff time.
